Computer Desktop and Network Support Specialist Baltimore, MD
Hands of Support is currently seeking a Desktop and Network Support Specialist to join our dynamic team and support the varied technology support needs of our customers campuses. This position will serve as a primary provider of on-site technical support and assist campus administration staff and teachers in the daily support of all computers, servers, networks, video systems and other technologies. The team member will support multiple Microsoft technologies and a variety of software applications in an Active Directory environment.

Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in a computer related field.
- Experience and understanding in providing advanced technical support for various technologies including servers, networking, Wi-Fi, desktop/laptop computers, printers, peripherals and video systems is preferred.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows server and related technologies required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills - Ability to communicate and work well in a large, diverse workforce
- Strong organizational skills, project management skills, organizing, planning and executing projects from vision through implementation.
- Operate independently as well as a part of a skilled team with the ability to multi-task.
- Dynamic personality with a focus on customer service with a high level of end user satisfaction.
- Ability to spec. hardware/network and database requirements for software applications.
- Knowledge of educational/instructional software is a plus
